Dress Shirt Size Chart
The Dress Shirt Size Chart is one common question we get all the time. There is no standard dress shirt size chart in the industry, but there are more and less popular fit options and we reviewed them all before deciding one 2 popular ones.

The Super Slim Dress Shirts
This fit is very rare to find and very rare to fit! This is tailored even further than the fitted fit in all the areas of the body. This is designed for individuals that want zero baggy fabric in any part of the shirt. The individual must be very slender as well. An example would be a 6′ 3″ person that weighs 140lbs.
The Slim Fit Dress Shirts
Slim fit is what it sounds like, slim! It has an aggressive cut on the sides of the shirt as well as darts on the back. The sleeves are really trim leading to an armpit that is much higher than a traditional shirt. This fit is much less comfortable especially when it comes to any movement. This has become a very popular fit simply because it is very flattering on the human body and has become the staple of the dress shirt standard today. This is one of the 2 types of fit we have adapted to our shirting.
The Classic Fit Dress Shirts
The classic fit goes back a long time and is simply what most may remember in the 1990s as a loose and boxy kind of look. It is loose in the sleeves and loose in the chest/waist area as well with lots of room to move. Unfortunately it is not a very popular or flattering look today.
The Modern Fit Dress Shirts
Not everyone can fit into the slim fit but love the trend of the more tailored shirt. This is where the modern fit comes in play. It is designed to be a style between the classic fit and the fitted. This fit has slightly tailored sides, the armpits are a bit tailored with the sleeve circumference but just a bit to prevent the “boxy” look. We chose this fit as our primary and main shirt pattern because most people fall into this fit category, unless you are an athlete.
